Research Analyst - Dubai, UAE

Job Description

The Research Analyst presents crucial insights and trends for product development and new market opportunities of Retail Industry. This involves studying new jurisdictions, conducting market research, presenting papers/presentations to the MD based on findings as well as legal support wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from various sources, including public databases, financial reports, and surveys.
• Analyze data using statistical tools and analytical methods. Interpret data sets and identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the company's goals.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings and analysis.
• Provide insights based on data analysis to support department decision-making processes.
• Understand data needs and assist in data-driven decision-making.
• Analyze information obtained from diverse source material to conceptualize and define problems, and collaborate with Managing Director to identify and clarify objectives and provide recommendations.
• Communicate progress and status of assigned work and use project management systems to record updates on all pending assignments.
• Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Director.

• Preferred candidate profile
• Graduation or Master's degree. Equivalent work experience that provides directly transferrable knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted. Caucus experience desirable.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, precedents, government regulations.
• Proven experience in a research analyst role or similar position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• This is primarily an office-based role.
• May require occasional travel to conduct field research or attend conferences.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
• Demonstrate integrity and good judgment and model strong ethics in all actions.
