Hotel - Engineering Dy. Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Maximize maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and management satisfaction balancing by minimization of cost.
• Prioritize, plan, schedule the preventive maintenance, installation, trouble shooting, and trainings and supervise the maintenance department staff and ensure team members are multitasking.
• Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water treatment, Fire Safety etc.
• Ensure smooth operations of utilities and services like Water supply, Power Supply, Elevators, Air conditioning Kitchen and other equipment.
• Ensure property, grounds, physical plant and work areas are maintained to standard and that all safety equipment and conditions are to code.
• Maintain, monitor and test hotel's emergency and security systems, features like Fire Alarm, CCTV, baggage scanners etc.
• Responsible for quality service, meeting / exceeding financial goals, short and long term planning and day-to-day operations.
• To assist in the preparation of the Annual Operation Budget
• To establish and monitor cost and expense control systems and procedures to achieve budgeted operation results.
• Should act and follow the supervision by Chief Engineer.
• Conducts regular inspection of the Hotels property to ensure that all is in order.
• Assist the Chief Engineer to achieve optional operating efficiency closely adhering to procedures detail as per SOPs.
• He should always do random check of areas in his preview and ensure that the standards are maintained
• Ensures that policies and procedures in regards to staff appearance, hygiene and sanitation equipment, tools are enforced.
• Ensure that ISO 22000:2005 norms are strictly followed.
• Attends all other meetings required by the General Manager / Chief Engineer

Preferred candidate profile

A male Engineering Graduate Age between 35-40 years with experience in Hotel Industry is mandatory. Should be able to join asap.
