Job Description
As a Robotics and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robotic systems that automate processes and improve productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, create prototypes, and implement solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic systems and automation solutions based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze system requirements to determine the best robotic solutions for various applications.
- Develop and implement software that controls robotic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Create prototypes and work on necessary components, such as microcontrollers and sensors, to build functional robotic systems.
- Perform integration tests and quality control to ensure that robotic systems meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.
- Monitor the performance of robotic systems and optimize their functionality through data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on advancements in robotics and automation technologies, applying relevant techniques to enhance existing systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports on project progress, including design specifications and testing results.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering or automation roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, and experience with robotics software platforms (e.g., ROS).
- Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, and actuators used in robotics.
- Experience with CAD software for designing robotic components and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex engineering challenges.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) and familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications in robotics.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to robotic systems.
