Finance Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning. You will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control while also leading a dedicated finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and execute the companys financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Advise senior management on financial decisions to ensure strategies are aligned with corporate growth goals.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure optimal resource allocation across departments.
• Continuously monitor financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to support informed decision-making.
• Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable insights for business strategies.
• Manage the companys cash flow, ensuring liquidity and efficient capital management.
• Secure financing through banking relationships and maintain a positive relationship with financial institutions.
• Implement cost-saving measures and identify opportunities to drive operational efficiency.
• Review and analyze departmental budgets to recommend improvements and cost reductions.
• Oversee vendor payments, ensuring compliance with payment terms.
• Supervise credit control processes, managing customer payments and collections.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with business operations.
• Develop and implement strategies for managing financial risks, including market volatility, operational disruptions, and regulatory changes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
• Work with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits to ensure financial processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Oversee professional development and provide training on financial practices and tools.

Candidate Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent financial qualification.

7-8 years of experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
