Role & responsibilities:

• Ensures that operation services are in accordance with the procedures laid down by respective airlines and regulating bodies at the airport in concurrence to Çelebi Delhi Ground Handling standards and procedures.
• Ensures that he/she is updated with latest policies, procedures and regulations.
• Resolves the problems related to operations that enhances customer satisfaction in terms of quality, efficiency and effectiveness, notifies his/her Duty Officer on problems which he/she can not resolve, provides suggestions to expedite the process.
• Works as per daily schedule prepared by Duty Officer/Operations.
• Notifies Duty Officer/Operations on difficulties that he/she encounters within the operation/issues which are beyond his/her authority and provides suggestions for solutions.
• Ensures that devices that are used in Operations Department are functioning well and maintains them properly, notifies Duty Officer/Operations to eliminate deficiencies.
• Ensures the security and safety of the company property (equipment, stationary items, etc), checks the stock and notifies Duty Officer/Operations on further requirements.
• Measures and evaluates his/her individual performance and development, attends planned trainings and projects for self improvement.
• Ensures the confidentiality of all information regarding the company and the work he/she performs, ensures the security of valuable documents.
• Attends additional duty as per the company requirements.
• Ensures to maintain Çelebi standards and procedures in the grooming and uniform regulations.
• Ensures that Çelebis corporate image and service standards are never jeopardized under any circumstances.
• Works in line with Çelebi values, principles and procedures.

• Ensure the turnaround activities are in conformance with local regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Co-ordinate and direct operational activities within the turnaround.
• Manage any disruptions to these activities.
• Ensure that processes are delivered within SLA standards of performance and compliance limits.
• Ensure activity sequence matches station turnaround plan with all activities delivered within the agreed times.
• Liaise with and between teams, departments and suppliers to inhibit discrepancies in task sequence or performance.
• Act as a central point of contact.
• Acts as safety co-ordinator by maintaining safe and secure processes for the duration of turnaround activities.
• Coordinates following activities during flight operations:

1. Pre flight duties

2. Stand allocation for arriving flight

3. Collection of inbound flight information

4. Check for serviceability of stand guidance and passenger bridge/external stairs

5. Stand inspection for FOD

6. Check for serviceability of GSE

7. Check that passenger bridge/external stairs are correctly parked and GSE are clear of stand

8. Check stand guidance/marshaller in position

9. Ensure use of appropriate PPE

10. Aircraft chocked

11. Ground power connected

12. Safety cones placed

13. Visual check of aircraft for damages

14. Passenger bridge/external stairs positioned

15. Passenger door(s) opened

16. Passenger disembarkation
