Job Description :

The AR/VR Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing immersive learning experiences using augmented and virtual reality technologies. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, creativity, and technical skills to create engaging and effective training solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Needs Analysis :

- Conduct thorough needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training requirements and learning objectives.

Instructional Design :

- Develop instructional materials and strategies that leverage AR/VR technologies to create immersive learning experiences.

- Design storyboards, scripts, and interactive scenarios.

Content Development :

- Utilize AR/VR development tools and platforms to create high-quality content.

- Integrate multimedia elements, 3D models, and interactive features.

Project Management :

- Manage the end-to-end development process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

User Testing :

- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users to refine and enhance AR/VR learning experiences.

- Implement changes based on feedback and best practices.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure all instructional materials meet high-quality standards, are aligned with learning objectives, and provide an engaging user experience.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with developers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive and effective AR/VR training solutions.

Innovation :

- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AR/VR technologies and instructional desiggn.

- Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve training solutions.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in designing and developing AR/VR instructional materials.

- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning methodologies.

- Proficiency in AR/VR development tools and platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Vuforia, Oculus, HTC Vive).

- Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting skills.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience with multimedia content creation, including 3D modeling, video production, and graphic design.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Portfolio of previous AR/VR instructional design projects is preferred.
