Job Description
Job Title: Associate/Sr. Associate Finance
Job Summary:
The resource will play a crucial role in managing thefinancial health of the company. The candidate will be responsible for accountspayable (P2P), account receivable along with maintaining accurate records ofthe companytransactions. The role also involves ensuring compliance withlocal regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliation of commission statement received from Insurance, Lending and MF and other partners.
- You will be identifying and raising the queries with Partners in commission statements and get them resolved and explain the same to partners over email and calls.
- You will be performing variance analysis on the budget versus actual performance.
- You need to assist in resolving internal and external audit queries and ensure timely audits.
- You will be assisting in monthly and yearly closure of books of accounts and preparation of schedules as required by the auditors.
- You will be involved in preparation and maintenance of half-yearly record/data for IRDA compliance filing as per the defined timelines.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations (GST, Income Tax, etc.).
- You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records for audit and compliance purposes.
- You will be responsible for the new vendor onboarding through Vendor Management system.
- You will be monitoring and managing accounts payable and receivable functions & processing and verifying the vendor invoices & creating Purchase orders in the system.
- You will be involved in preparation of Bank account reconciliation of all the banks as per the defined timelines.
- You need to ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.
- You will be involved in collection of quarterly TDS certificates from clients and their reconciliation with 26AS.
- You will be reviewing and reconciling ledger balances on a regular basis.
- You will be working with the finance team to maintain and improve financial processes using the companyERP system.
- You will be responsible for suggesting and implementing process improvements for operational efficiency.
- You should stay updated with changes in Indian financial regulations and update management as needed.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Education :
- You should be Post Graduate in Commerce (MBA Finance will be preferred).
- If you have CFA or CPA, that will be an advantage.
- Experience :
- You must have 3+years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in a corporate environment.
- You should be well versed with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and Indian taxation laws.
- Skills :
- You must have strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
- You should have experience with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
- You should have good understanding of taxation, auditing, and financial reporting.
- You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You should have the ability to work independently and within a team.

- You need to have a high level of integrity and ethical standards.
- You should have the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
