Job Description
The MySQL DB Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the MySQL databases used by eDAS and its clients. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user requirements and provide customized solutions that meet eDAS s and its clients needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in MySQL, SQL, and database design principles
- Familiarity with database administration tools, knowledge of database backup and recovery, and database security and authorization
- Knowledge of MySQL features and platform compatibility, along with experience with replication configuration in MySQL
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, PHP, or Java
- Expertise in optimizing queries and creating table indexing for MySQL databases
- Experience with cloud services, such as Amazon RDS and PostgreSQL
- Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data warehousing and data modeling is a plus
