Job Description :

As a Playwright Automation Tester, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust automated test suites, developing test scripts, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across our applications. You will leverage your deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and your expertise in Playwright to build efficient and reliable testing solutions. Your experience with API testing, database testing, and CI/CD pipelines will be highly valued.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Playwright.

- Create and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.

- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

- Identify and report defects, and track them to resolution.

- Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs.

- Perform database testing using MSSQL, IBM Db2, MariaDB, or SAP ASE/Sybase DB.

- Validate data integrity and consistency.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build and deployment process.

- Manage and track defects using defect tracking tools.

- Participate in defect triage meetings.

- Manage test cases using qTest or similar test case management tools.

- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

- Document test plans, test cases, test results, and automation frameworks.

- Maintain clear and concise documentation of automated test processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 8+ years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer.

- 5+ years of experience in building and executing automated tests using Playwright.

- Strong Quality Assurance knowledge : testing techniques, test documentation, defect triage.

- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Solid Test Automation fundamentals with hands-on experience in automation tools at the End to End, API, and Unit testing levels (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, or similar).

- Good Experience in databases (MSSQL, IBM Db2, MariaDB, or SAP ASE/Sybase DB).

- Knowledge of test case management using qTest or similar.

- Excellent spoken and written English.
