FinCrif - Senior Business Analyst (4-6 yrs)

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and needs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the application/transaction fraud domain, as well as expertise in SQL, XML, JSON, and APIs.

This role involves documenting requirements, defining project scope, and helping the team develop robust solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirement Gathering: Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.

- System Analysis: Analyze existing systems and processes, providing recommendations for improvements and modifications.

- Issue Resolution: Analyze production issues, explaining problems to the development team and assisting in solution development.

- Documentation: Create detailed workflows, diagrams, and write Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).

- Project Management: Define project requirements, identify project milestones, and establish timelines and budgets.

- Form and coordinate the project team.

- Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve systems by analyzing current practices and designing modifications.

- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress by monitoring activities, resolving issues, publishing reports, and recommending necessary actions.

- Reporting: Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, trends, and operational metrics.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and developers to ensure smooth project execution and solution delivery.

- Continuous Review: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of processes using operational metrics and reporting tools.

Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong exposure to application/transaction fraud prevention and detection.

Skills:

- Proven expertise in SQL for data querying and analysis.

- Strong working knowledge of XML, JSON, and API integrations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear solutions.

- Experience with system and process documentation, including creating workflows and writing Software Requirement Specifications.

- Strong analytical skills, capable of assessing system performance and identifying areas for improvement.

- Effective communication skills for collaborating with development teams and stakeholders.

- Experience in managing projects, including tracking progress, resolving issues, and reporting outcomes.
