Head - Finance - Media/Entertainment Industry - CA (10-15 yrs)

Experience Required:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10- years of proven experience as Head of Finance preferably from Media and Entertainment industry with strong affiliation with youth, sports industry, sports apparel and associated sub-sectors.

Skills / Competencies Required:

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead a team and should have:

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate with and influence a complex range of stakeholders

- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles

- An analytical mind with a strategic ability

- Detailed oriented who is prepared to invest in significant time in enhancing financial operations.

- In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

- Experience in managing a finance function that includes financial accounting and reporting, risk management and control, policy development etc.

- Proven ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections

- Experience developing funding opportunities and generating additional income

- Understanding of operational and strategic aspects of Tax, Compliance, Governance -Framework preferably in a multi entity scenario

- Excellent communication skills in a range of forums including public speaking
