FITPASS - Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (3-7 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Financial Planning and Accounts Manager to lead our financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions. This role will be responsible for driving financial strategy, managing forecasting and budgeting processes, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen, a solid background in financial reporting, and the ability to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes.

- Conduct financial forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.

- Prepare management reports with insights on key financial metrics and performance drivers.

- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data and market trends.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.

Accounting & Compliance:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and payroll.

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing and reporting.

- Maintain compliance with statutory and tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations for improvement.

- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and accounting policies.

Cash Flow & Risk Management:

- Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.

- Assist in managing banking relationships and optimizing capital structure.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

- CA/CMA/CPA certification is highly desirable.

- 3-6 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and accounting.

- Proficiency in financial software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

- Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities.

Work Environment:

- Primarily office-based with regular collaboration across departments.

- May require extended hours during key reporting periods or audits.
