Title: Senior Backend Engineer -Node.JS

Location: Mumbai / Remote

Experience: 3-5 Yrs.

Education: Bachelors / Masters in Software Engineering

Primary Responsibilities

• You will be an integral member in the development and deployment efforts for few enterprise application projects to solve complex business problems.
• You will write idempotent, testable, debuggable, intelligible and documentable code and test cases using appropriate technologies like JavaScript or any other programming language.
• You will Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers and Production Support engineers in an agile development environment.
• You will improve the systems by integrating existing solutions and building new technology.

Required Skill

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
• Strong proven experience with Node. JS and Express.
• Experience building API using Node JS.
• Strong proficiency working with RDMS and NoSQL databases.
• Event-driven and Microservices architectures; Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with implementing run-time architecture services (caching, logging, etc.).
• Experience with collaborating with team members.
• Experience with managing team members.
• Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design is a plus.
• Experience using Containers - Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience working in AWS Cloud Environment is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the agile processes, as a team product owner
• Guiding and managing the team to fulfill the product requirements
• Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product owners
• Define the product strategy, vision & the business value in line with the business owners and other relevant stakeholders
• Build relations and collaborate with internal stakeholders to receive input, get feedback, and keep them informed
• Work passionately to ensure your team is focusing on the right things, balancing short versus long term needs
• Driving the team and other stakeholders on the product goals by nurturing and guiding them
• Create user stories by collaborating with Business Owners, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Designers, DevOps, QA and Engineering. Identify clear acceptance criteria for each feature
• Writing complete and detail-oriented product requirements documents and ensuring clear communication of those requirements to the business, design, usability and development teams
• Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring timely and accurate exchange of information
