Technical Content Developer

Location: Mumbai

Objective and Key Results:

As a Technical Content Developer, you will create content for our Cloud Native Core

Banking Products. The content should help the customer to understand features and

capabilities of our product and to enable them to use it as a basis to create work

instructions and train their end users.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a member of content development team, you will understand the product

functionality by reviewing the user stories, using the actual system and discussing

with various stakeholders. You will create various types of content to document the

product.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with product management team, development team, and testing

team through the product-lifecycle process to understand the product and

document it.

• Writing User Manuals, Online Help, Release Notes, FAQs, Cheat Sheets, Training

Manuals as well as instructional videos.

• Create content according to set standards for sequence, clarity, conciseness, style

and terminology.

[WHAT YOU'LL NEED]

As a Technical Content Developer, you must have the ability to grasp complex information

and translate it into clear and understandable documentation using various authoring tools.

You need to have excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and accuracy.

As an integral part of the development team, you will need the following skills to

succeed.

Education:

Qualifications and Years of Experience

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in English
• 4 to 9 years experience in writing of software documentation.

Technical Proficiency

• Experience with authoring tools like FrameMaker, RoboHelp, DITA and XML

Authoring tools along with advanced MS Office Suite skills.

• Command over English language
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily

understandable in text and pictures

• Understanding of different types of documentation and choosing the best way to

represent the data

• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to writing and communication.
