Position/Profile Title: Country Manager - Japan + South Korea
Experience: +10-15 years - preferably in Food Service/B2B F&B
Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales and/or Marketing from a reputable tertiary institute
Essential Area of Expertise:
- Food service / B2B Sales
- Business Development and customer acquisition
- Distribution & channel Management
- Team building and management.
- Building relationship with customers and key decision makers
Desired Area of Expertise:
- Knowledge and exposure to processed food industry, particularly frozen foods.
- Management of high profile QSR/National Key Account customers and National/Regional Distributors.
- Fluent in English and Japanese and Korean
Purpose of the Position:
1. To strengthen and grow the company's business in the region.
2. Identify opportunities to further increase the business & profitability
Roles and Responsibility:
- Expansion of company's presence in the region, vertically and horizontally
- Establishing a strong presence in relevant National Key Accounts/QSRs and building a robust, sustainable distribution network for Fun brand in the region
- Increase customer base - both for company brand and private label business
- Ensuring achievement of targeted topline as well as bottom line for the region.
- Managing customer expectations with Operational demands and develop desired customer service levels that are sustainable.
- With support from Operations and Marketing, deliver new product development and ideations with customers to expand customers' menu/portfolio.
- As part of the IGM leadership team, delivery against assigned regional projects on time and in Full.
- Defining and achieving targeted product mix
- Building and managing strong relationships with both external as well as internal key stakeholders
- Ensuring commercial discipline and adherence to agreed terms.
- Staying up to date on market trends and changes in the competitive landscape
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, products, and customer service to ensure efficient service.
- Keep an update on legal requirements for the company's products in the region.
