Executive - Wintel L2

Role & responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain the Wintel infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) for efficient resource utilization and system performance.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory on prem and Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies to ensure seamless authentication and access management.
• Monitor system health, analyze logs, and proactively address performance or security issues.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for business continuity.
• Oversee IT asset management, including tracking hardware/software inventory, managing Microsoft licenses, and ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
• Drive execution, resolving escalations, and ensuring SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system automation, optimization, and security best practices.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports in alignment with IT policies and industry standards.

Qualification

• Educational Qualification : BSC / Diploma
• Professional Certification (preferred): Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, or Azure Administrator Associate). VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Hyper-V certification. ITIL Foundation Certification (for understanding IT service management best practices).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience

Key Skills required

• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), including troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. Self-driven and proactive.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and ITIL processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle escalations efficiently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
