About Us :

As we expand our operations, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at VCCEdge part of Mosaic Digital, the research and events business of HT Media.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers responsible for developing and maintaining core Java backend systems.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, and DevOps to ensure seamless product delivery.

- Drive technical initiatives and provide technical guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Architect scalable and reliable systems that support high-traffic applications, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to hands-on development when necessary.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

Master's degree preferred :

- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Core Java backend technologies.

- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing engineering teams.

- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced environments.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and drive results through influence.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
