Manager - Product Marketing - SaaS Product
Role overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team at VCCEdge.com.
VCCEdge (Part of HT Media) is a leading platform in the startup and investor ecosystem in India. With a keen focus on innovation and market trends, we empower businesses to make informed decisions and foster growth in the dynamic startup ecosystem in India.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, digital advertising, marketing automation, and proficiency with marketing tools such as ZoHo, Salesforce, CleverTap etc. This role will play a pivotal part in developing and executing campaigns or projects to generate organic and inorganic leads, drive product awareness, and ultimately contribute to the company's growth.
Qualifications and skills:
- B.Tech preferred (with or without MBA but should have a tech background)
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
- Proven hands-on experience and working knowledge of digital campaigns, SEO, marketing tools.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to take initiative and lead tasks/projects.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and executing SEO strategy for the website:
- Conducting thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-value target keywords and opportunities for optimization.
- Optimizing website content, meta tags, headers, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
- Developing and implementing link-building strategies to increase domain authority and improve search engine visibility.
- Monitoring and analyzing website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to identify areas for improvement.
2. Plan and execute digital campaigns on platforms like Google and LinkedIn:
- Developing campaign objectives, target audience segmentation, and ad creatives based on marketing goals and customer personas.
- Setting up and managing advertising campaigns.
- Monitoring campaign performance, optimizing ad spend, and adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs.
- Collaborating with the design team to create visually appealing and engaging ad creatives that resonate with the target audience.
3. Plan and execute emailer, SMS campaigns to generate leads:
- In charge of planning and executing email and SMS marketing campaigns to generate leads and nurture customer relationships.
- Developing segmented email and SMS marketing lists based on customer demographics, behavior, and preferences.
- Creating compelling email and SMS content, including subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action, to drive engagement and conversions.
- Designing and deploying automated email workflows and drip campaigns to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Monitoring campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, and optimizing campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
4. Handling CRM and marketing tools like ZoHo, Salesforce or CleverTap:
- Customizing and configuring the CRM system to meet the company's specific needs and requirements.
- Creating and maintaining marketing automation workflows, including lead scoring, lead nurturing, and email automation.
- Training and supporting team members in using the CRM system and marketing tools effectively.
- Generating reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
5. Content marketing on social platforms:
- Creating a content calendar and strategy aligned with marketing goals and target audience interests.
- Managing social media accounts, including posting, monitoring engagement, responding to comments, and growing followership.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to source content ideas, assets, and collaborations.
