Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Configuration & Asset Manager to lead the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of Configuration and Asset Management processes across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing CMDBs, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain effective CMDB processes in alignment with ITIL best practices.

- Define and document policies, procedures, and standards for configuration and asset management.

- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the CMDB through continuous audits and data reconciliation.

- Work closely with discovery tools, automation, and integration points to gather and update configuration data.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate CI relationships, ownership, and criticality.

- Develop and track metrics/KPIs to measure CMDB health, compliance, and process effectiveness.

- Support Change, Incident, Problem, and Release Management through reliable configuration data.

- Lead initiatives to improve CMDB maturity and integration with other ITSM processes.

- Conduct training and awareness sessions to promote best practices in configuration and asset management.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Configuration & Asset Manager in a complex IT environment.

- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, especially Configuration and Asset Management.

- Experience managing and integrating CMDBs using tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or equivalent.

- Hands-on experience with data discovery tools and automated inventory systems.

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

- Ability to influence and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders
