Instructional Designer (10+ Years Experience) Pharma Projects

Location: Remote on contract for 6 months to start.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Instructional Designer with 10+ years of expertise in instructional design, e-learning development, and curriculum creation, specifically within pharmaceutical and life sciences projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, compliance training, and digital learning solutions tailored for the pharma industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instructionally sound training solutions for pharma clients, including e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended learning.
• Collaborate with SMEs, medical writers, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate and compliant content.
• Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, etc.) to create engaging learning experiences.
• Develop content using LMS platforms, e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate), and multimedia solutions.
• Manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance for learning deliverables.
• Stay updated with pharmaceutical industry regulations and ensure training aligns with compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on pharma or life sciences training.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles, and compliance-driven training.
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.).
• Experience working with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant content.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical, compliance, and regulatory experts.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and content development skills.
