Job Description
Your Role and Responsibilities
The Instana Support team is looking for a Support Engineer to join our team.At Instana, we process and analyze millions of spans, traces, metrics, and events per second to provide actionable APM intelligence to our rapidly expanding customer base.Joining a multi-functional team, you will play a significant role in expanding Instana's excellent customer support. As part of your role, you will provide technical assistance to customers, create knowledge base articles, and explore new technologies regularly. You will work alongside your colleagues to troubleshoot different issues that arise with customers' environments. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with the SME and SRE support teams to enhance your expertise and acquire new skills.As a member of the Support team, your responsibilities will include:
- 6 years hands-on experience as a development/support engineer or software engineer
- Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Linux console (reading logs, navigating through directories, copy/paste folders/files, etc.).
- Docker, or any other containerization technology.
- Base API knowledge.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- OOP languages (Java, Python, C#, or similar).
- Kubernetes.
- Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
