Cinema 4D Animator (3D Lead Generalist)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Cinema 4D Animator / 3D Generalist Lead to take charge of the 3D pipeline across various projects, including animation, motion graphics, and visual effects. As the lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end 3D production process, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality, visually compelling results that align with project goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the 3D design team in producing high-end visuals, animations, and effects.
  
• Work across all stages of the 3D pipeline: modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, animating, rendering, and compositing.
  
• Collaborate with creative directors, project managers, and clients to understand project scope and deliverables.
  
• Supervise asset development and ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in all outputs.
  
• Review, critique, and provide feedback on the teams work to maintain high visual standards.
  
• Solve creative and technical challenges throughout the production process.
  
• Research and implement new tools, plug-ins, and workflows to optimize performance and results.
  
• Maintain documentation and guidelines for 3D standards and best practices.
  
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior or lead 3D generalist role.
  
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D and VFX software (Cinema 4D, After Effects, Redshift/Octane).
  
• Strong understanding of 3D principles: modeling, UV mapping, materials, lighting, and animation.
  
• Good sense of timing, composition, and storytelling.
  
• Experience with real-time engines (e.g., Unreal Engine) is a plus.
  
• Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a creative team.
  
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AR/VR or interactive media.
  
• Background in motion graphics or visual storytelling.
  
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Python, MEL, XPresso) is a bonus.
