IIRIS - Senior Software Developer - Node.js/Python (3-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We're building the next generation of engaging mobile games with a focus on scalability and user experience and we're seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong backend expertise to join our core development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gaming, deep technical knowledge, and experience building scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust backend services for mobile gaming applications

- Architect scalable solutions using Node.js and Python for game servers

- Implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for game services

- Create and optimize APIs for game features and user interactions

- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and implementation strategies

- Manage technical debt through proper documentation and code reviews

- Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices

- Collaborate with game designers to implement core gaming features

- Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning

- Build and maintain high-performance multiplayer game systems

Technical Requirements :

- Strong proficiency in Node.js node and Python python3 development

- Hands-on experience with AWS services aws (EC2, S3, Lambda)

- Knowledge of security best practices and implementation

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Knowledge of database design and optimization (SQL psql and NoSQL)

- Experience with version control systems git and CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with container technologies (docker, docker-compose, kubectl)

- Understanding of clean code principles and design patterns

- Experience with real-time communication protocols

Preferred Qualifications & Essential Experience :

- Bachelor- s / Master- s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of software development experience.

- Contributions to open-source project or technical publications are a plus.

- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex systems
