Senior Specialist Storage

• End-to-end administrate and be responsible for our storage infrastructure
• Plan, design, build and implement various storage solutions, up to cross-functional and pre-defined user acceptance tests
• Support our internal customers as we'll as application owners and our net work and backup colleagues with complex problems (1st , 2nd and 3rdlevel support) including performance analyzing and debugging
• Do daily operational tasks such as the resolution of Remedy Tickets and Changes
• Follow-up\/track alarms sent out by Zabbix and other self-developed alarming tools
• Proactively solve system generated error messages and alarms of Storage vendor proprietary monitoring tools
• Support tech-refreshes and system-extension
• Keep existing documentation and tools up-to-date and document and share changes, new tools and solutions as appropriate (CMDB, Zabbix, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab, Rundeck,)
• Participate in global Storage service On-Call shifts

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree in Computer Science or similar professional career path
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a storage administrator, systems engineer or consultant
• Working experience with NetApp, Dell EMC, PURE or Hitachi storage solutions for several years (as an advantage)
• we'll-proven expertise in scripting (Bash and\/or PowerShell and\/or Python; Perl5 or Ansible is a BIG plus...)
• Knowledge in ITIL, CMDB and other Enterprise IT processes and frameworks
• Experience in NetApp ONTAP administration, from 7-Mode to Clustered Data ONTAP
• Successfully finished migrations (as an advantage)
