Electrical Sales Engineer

The key responsibilities of the Sales Engineer - Electrical would be to use industry network to identify potential customers, develop customer relationships, drive sales growth and promote technical solutions tailored to client needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather the required information and ensure compliance with client requirements. Additionally, the employee will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and monitoring market trends.

SCOPE OF WORK

Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities in industrial automation and control panel domains Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions from the product portfolio (PLC Panels, MCC, PCC, Drive Panels, etc.)
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients
• Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers in coordination with management
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products and gather market intelligence
• Provide feedback from the market to support product development and strategy
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing of electrical control panels and automation products
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, MCC/PCC panels, VFD/Drive panels, and control desk configurations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and under tight deadlines
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ability to take initiatives
• Eager to learn
• Willingness to travel for client visits and business development
