- Injala is looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Marketing for a fast-paced tech company that is disrupting technology in the Insurance Industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing technology products; ideally having created successful marketing campaigns for B2B SAAS products. The candidate will be tasked with bringing cutting edge technology to market.
- This includes direct-to-market and in collaboration with strategic partners. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest engineers, seasoned insurance professionals, some of the most reputable industry advisors and largest partner companies in this space. Job Description:
- We are looking to hire an experienced marketer as our Director of Marketing! You'll lead marketing strategy across the customer lifecycle, from new demand and conversions to customer retention and advocacy.
- You'll be the marketing team leader reportedly directing to our CEO, responsible for the scalable, predictable and repeatable process of creating a sales pipeline by guiding prospects all the way through the funnel, from anonymous to delighted customer.

- The leader we're seeking will excel at driving repeatable pipelines, building world-class teams and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and Channel teams to solve new Go-To-Market challenges. This person is a seasoned manager who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a consistent record of driving high pipeline growth and moves quickly to build structure and process. They will be comfortable collaborating across senior functional owners throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the CEO and have ownership of all marketing initiatives and numbers
- Work with the Leadership Team to mobilize our Strategic Narrative and educate our target market about the movement we are building and the transformation we bring for our customers through our SaaS platform
- Know them well to both discuss on an analytical basis and communicate their meaning and impact; Need to be able to do this at a board level competency
- Communicate regularly on the current status and projections of all marketing initiatives and KPIs to all organizational stakeholders
- Have a thoughtful growth mindset
- Proactively identify market opportunities and launch marketing programs to efficiently grow this base
- Lead the demand generation function to drive predictable, scalable, and repeatable pipeline and revenue.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to design and execute outbound campaigns for pipeline development
- Accountable for accurate forecast monthly, quarterly, and annually; establish and manage data and supporting metrics
- Manage capacity planning and promotion cycles in partnership with Business Operations, Recruiting and People teams
- Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists
- Create and innovate. Develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive results while standing out from run-of-the-mill everyday campaigns at other B2B tech sector companies.
- Storyboard messaging and storylines for inclusion in integrated marketing campaigns
- Communicate with marketing, senior leadership, and sales management on an ongoing basis regarding new and nurtured lead performance results, current initiatives, and course corrections.
- Own all the Digital Marketing plans including paid search and paid social programs
Qualifications
- 5-8 years' experience in B2B marketing, demand generation and/or account-based marketing experience, preferably at SaaS or technology companies that sells to an IT buyer.
- Strong understanding of Digital Marketing channels and strategies.
- An understanding and hands-on experience with key demand creation approaches, including digital advertising, website optimization, nurture programs, email, events, webinars, demand partnerships, content syndication, sponsorships, and more.
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to use data to test and optimize campaign performance and inform future strategies.
- Previous experience running account-based campaigns and a track record of success for penetrating key accounts.
- Solid balance of art and science - creativity in ideating integrated marketing campaigns and business mindset in efficiently managing goals, numbers, and operations
- Track record of measurable success in developing and growing pipeline through innovative campaigns and programs to scale company growth
- You have a track record of leading product marketing and brand management/marketing initiatives with business impact
- You know your way around Google Analytics, Google/Facebook/LinkedIn ads, Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Search Console, and other tools typically in a marketing stack
