Java Technical Lead

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience of software development experience, with a strong focus on Java and fullstack architecture (80% backend/20% frontend)
• Backend: Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA, Hibernate, Microservices, RESTful APIs
• Frontend: ReactJS (with Redux) or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
• Databases: Experience with relational (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket)
• Security: Proficiency in authentication and authorization technologies (OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, Okta)
• API Documentation: Swagger/OpenAPI

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka)
• Experience working in distributed team environments

Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for a Sr Java Fullstack Tech Lead to sit hybrid in Hyderabad, India for one of our fastest growing start up clients. This person will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end software architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards
• Lead the development and deployment of microservices-based applications using Java Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular)
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to optimize performance, scalability, and security
• Oversee the integration of system components, including RESTful APIs, databases, and third-party services
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines across teams
• Guide and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
• Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide hands-on support for complex challenges
• Work closely with stakeholders and product managers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Create clear architectural documentation and provide training to team members
• Ensure effective communication across cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and operations
• Own responsibility for code quality, application security, and system performance
• Implement robust security measures (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, etc.) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)

This role can pay 35-40LPA depending on years of experience and skillset.
