A disciplined and analytical frame of mind goes a long way for mergers and acquisitions, stock trading and managing IPOs. - Custom-develop corporate investment banking strategies for clients

- Evaluate the company and enable them to build capital through a sound investment banking strategy

- Possess a keen understanding of the market, investment banking trends and financial forecasts

- Create a valuation model for the client/company which analyses risks, variables and other essential factors

- Identify potential investors and get them on board as investment bankers

Your tasks

- Give financial advice based on long-term and short-term risks and opportunities

- Perform the investment banker role with the highest ethics and comply with national, international and company regulations

- Prepare documentation for every investment banking transaction that takes place

- Provide support to the clients by providing round-the-clock investment banking services

- Mentor and train junior investment bankers, corporate bankers and other staff members

Required skills and qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline

- Prior work experience as an investment banker, financial banker or an underwriter

- Knowledge of MS Office and its related tools

- High interest in the latest market trends and developments in the financial investment sector

- Expertise in Merger & Acquisition and securities regulations

Preferred skills and qualifications

- Certification in financial management

- Skillset and experience in valuation or forecasting

- Demonstrated work ethics and professionalism in the workplace
