Process Safety Engineer- EHS Executive @ Ipca Ratlam

Job Description:

• Responsible for identifying process hazards, evaluating risks of those hazards, and developing effective solutions to mitigate risk in API processes.
• Develop comprehensive High Hazard/Process Safety Management (HH/PSM) programs that include but are not limited to Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) execution and follow-up to ensure timely closeout of findings; and effective implementation of HH/PSM program elements; development of KPIs; training and assuring compliance.
• Responsible for tracking key performance indicators (leading and lagging) to track the progress of BD HH/PSM program.
• Lead PHA on existing and new processes.
• Evaluate new processes and modify existing processes and facilities to meet new requirements. Works in tandem with maintenance and other engineering functions to develop, coordinate and evaluate maintenance programs for highly technical equipment for High Hazard Operations.
• Provide oversight for the site Management of Change (MOC) Processes.
• Manage the site PHA schedule and recommendation implementation plan.
• Leads and performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for incidents and near misses across the Sandy plant.
• Provide oversight of and lead Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for site projects throughout Sandy.
• Provide mentoring and create and deliver training for site personnel.
• Participates on teams responsible for implementing new procedures and processes related to EHS and HH/PSM.

Qualification: B.Tech (Chemical) & ADIS

Experience: 06 to 09 Years of experience in process safety for chemicals and API.
