About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Redis Database Administrator to join our data infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing Redis databases in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain Redis database solutions

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Redis clusters

- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies

- Monitor and tune Redis performance

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues

- Implement security measures to protect data integrity

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Redis usage in applications

- Stay current with Redis updates and best practices

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 3+ years of experience as a Redis Database Administrator

- Strong understanding of Redis data structures and commands

- Experience with Redis clustering and replication

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)

- Familiarity with monitoring tools for Redis (e.g., Redis Sentinel, Prometheus)

- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with other NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Redis Certified Developer certification
