Oracle Apex Developer

Role purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to join our team. As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our application's database model, user interface (APEX), database scripts, and APIs. You will also provide support to our application users, addressing any issues they encounter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, PL/SQL development, and Oracle APEX development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the database model, user interface (APEX), database scripts, and APIs for our application.
• Support application users by addressing issues related to our application.
• Work collaboratively in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate effectively with large multinational/multicultural teams and matrix organizations.
• Utilize unix and Linux shell scripting for development tasks.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies related to Oracle APEX development.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle database administration and PL/SQL development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Proven experience working in large multinational/multicultural teams and matrix organizations.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Oracle database, Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Must Have:

• University degree or higher education in Computer Science
• Fluent in English with ability to communicate at all levels
• Working with international and virtual teams
