Deputy General Manager - Fabrication/Conversion - Plastic Industry (10-15 yrs)

Job Description:

As the largest plastics processors in the nation, it effectively handles volumes of over 6,40,000 metric tonnes of polymers annually and provide a diverse and comprehensive selection of plastic products in India.

Education Essential & Preferred:

- BE (Mech)/ DME / Diploma in Plastic technology with an experience in foam fabrication / conversion industry

Job Description:

- Overall responsibility for all conversion units located in South Zone such as Hosur, Chennai, Pondy, Coimbatore for development/new business /control /execution / yield.

- Coordination for NBD activities for zone /scrutinizing / DFM /execution

- Responsibility for Router Machine production with new developments

- Re-engineering on existing products (Value addition).

- Design & development and making drawings for New/existing products.

- New development for design of dies/value Engineering

- Monitoring job workers production plan vs actual made on daily basis/ weekly basis for zone.

- Maintaining MOQ for all JIT customers if any material shortfall, inform to job workers done by fabricator / communicate the concern marketing / customers

- Planning for input material for all regular customers and check with all plants & input material feed to job worker on daily basis

- Pending orders against EDOP/EDOD given to PPC

- Co-ordination with marketing team for supplies-new development/ sample submission/ costing

- Responsible for Monthly stock taking at all conversion units.

- Responsible for Material reconciliation of job workers/ conversion units

- Furnish value addition report/ action plan and implementation on low yield products to match the OPM of costing.

- Coordination for defence development and other business.

- Standardization of all process and quality standard with appropriate manufacturing practices.

- Performance assessment through KRA and job profile for the area of responsibilities for your department
