Pragma Edge - Senior DevSecOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (5-7 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer with proven leadership capabilities to guide our DevSecOps team and strengthen our CI/CD and MLOps practices.

In addition to hands-on technical expertise, this role includes overseeing team activities, streamlining processes, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Experience : 5 to 7 Years.

Location : Hyderabad.

Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead the team in establishing DevSecOps best practices and developing a proactive security-first culture within the CI/CD pipeline.

- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development.

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on MLOps, supporting the integration and deployment of ML models within CI/CD processes.

Pipeline and Security Management :

- Oversee CI/CD pipeline implementations using Jenkins, ensuring integration of tools like SonarQube for code quality and Trivy for vulnerability scanning.

- Manage branching and merging strategies using Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth and stable code flow across environments.

- Lead security and compliance checks with tools like Mend, ensuring all deployments adhere to regulatory standards and best practices.

Team Coordination & Communication :

- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, working closely with development, security, and operations teams to align on DevSecOps objectives.

- Conduct regular stand-ups, retrospectives, and performance reviews to assess progress, address challenges, and promote continuous improvement.

- Manage alerts and notifications within Microsoft Teams, coordinating swift response to any pipeline or security incidents.

Performance & Reporting :

- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess pipeline efficiency, security posture, and deployment success rates.

- Compile and present regular reports on DevSecOps activities, highlighting achievements, incident resolutions, and areas for improvement.

- Drive continuous improvement efforts by analyzing performance testing results (i.e., Quality Gateway and SFTP pipelines), adjusting enhance stability and scalability.

Documentation & Process Optimization :

- Ensure comprehensive documentation of DevSecOps and MLOps processes, creating a knowledge base for the team and promoting best practices.

- Evaluate and optimize existing DevSecOps workflows, implementing automation where possible to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps tools, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Trivy, and Mend (WhiteSource).

- Leadership Skills : Proven experience in managing and mentoring DevSecOps teams, setting clear goals, and supporting professional growth.

- Security & Compliance : Expertise with security and vulnerability scanning, and a strong grasp of regulatory compliance standards.

- Containerization & Deployment : Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration, ensuring secure, scalable deployments.

- MLOps Integration : Experience in deploying and managing ML models within CI/CD processes.

- Communication & Collaboration : Skilled in using tools like Microsoft Teams for alerts and notifications, fostering strong cross-team collaboration.

- Performance & Process Management : Ability to evaluate system performance and optimize deployment processes, including performance testing in secure environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in large-scale data transfer management in CI/CD settings.

- Certifications in DevOps or related fields are a plus.
