Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) to lead and manage sales operations within a designated geographical zone. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, managing regional teams, and executing the company's sales strategies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement zonal sales plans aligned with national business objectives.
- Lead and manage Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), and field executives.
- Drive primary and secondary sales targets across all product categories.
- Identify and appoint distributors, ensure efficient distributor management, and maintain trade relationships.
- Monitor and improve key sales KPIs (volume, revenue, outlet coverage, distribution depth).
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adapt sales strategies.
- Ensure effective execution of marketing and trade promotion activities.
- Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to streamline operations and collections.
- Conduct regular market visits and performance reviews with field teams.
- Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to enhance productivity and morale.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-12 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a regional or zonal leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large sales teams and multi-state territories.
- Strong distributor/channel management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the zone.
