Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Product Head / Product Lead to drive product lifecycle strategies, manage go-to-market execution, and optimize product profitability in the Air Conditioning and Home Appliances segment.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in product planning, pricing strategy, and cross-functional leadership to oversee all stages from development to market maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
- Define and manage product lifecycle from concept to phase-out across RAC (Room Air Conditioner)
- Lead GTM strategy with clear value propositions and product messaging aligned with brand objectives.
- Collaborate with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to bring consumer-driven innovations to market.
- Manage product roadmaps, feature enhancements, and transitions across lifecycle stages.
Business Planning & Profitability
- Monitor product pricing, profitability (gross & net), and develop SKU-wise, subcategory, and region-wise financial reports.
- Own P&L responsibilities including strategic pricing, sell-in/out schemes, and competitive positioning.
Market Analysis & Consumer Insights
- Conduct pre- and post-launch research to guide future roadmap decisions.
- Study consumer behavior and emerging technologies to proactively address market needs.
Marketing Communications & Training
- Drive the development of marketing collaterals such as catalogs, sales decks, and training manuals.
- Lead internal product training sessions to align salesforce and partners with product USPs and positioning.
Requirements:
- B.Tech/ PGDBM in Marketing (preferred from a reputed institute ).
- 12+ years of experience in Product Management, with strong exposure to RAC and Consumer Electronics.
