Key Accountabilities

• Architect and design reliable and scalable data infrastructure
• Build & maintain data platform using structures/unstructured data from all the internal and relevant l sources

that acts as a single source of truth

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for both streaming and batch ETL processes.
• Proactively review existing process to identify opportunities to improve data quality, automate manual

processes, optimise data delivery, re-design infrastructure for greater scalability.

• Working with our data scientists & business functions to turn large-scale messy, diverse, and often

unstructured data into a source of meaningful & enriched data layer.

• Maintain databases that downstream data areas rely on.
• Strong focus on code management, version control and documentation

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with building data platforms using real-time as well as batch processing big data

solutions

• Proficiency with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Exception programming skills in SQL, Python, Shell scripting, Scala/PySpark
• Experience working with AWS big data technologies (EC2, Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis and Lambda)
• Proficiency with github
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus
• Proficiency with APIs, containerization, and orchestration is a plus
