PHP Developer - Laravel/Javascript (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

Feature Implementation :

- Translate design specifications and wireframes into functional WordPress themes, plugins, and custom PHP code.

Technical Design :

- Contribute to low-level design (LLD) discussions and create detailed technical solutions for specific WordPress components and features.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of code. Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high standards and share knowledge.

Performance Optimization :

- Analyze and optimize the performance of WordPress websites and PHP applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure fast loading times and smooth user experiences.

Troubleshooting and Debugging :

- Diagnose and fix errors and bugs in WordPress themes, plugins, and custom PHP code to ensure seamless functionality.

Collaboration :

- Work effectively with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other engineers to clarify requirements, estimate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Maintenance and Upgrades :

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for WordPress websites and applications, including updating plugins, themes, and core WordPress files to ensure security and compatibility.

Technical Documentation :

- Create clear and concise technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and understanding within the team.

Continuous Learning :

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and PHP development, exploring new technologies and tools to improve our development process.

Skills & Qualifications :

Proficiency :

- Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong understanding of WordPress architecture and development best practices.

- Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, customization, and integration.

- Ability to write clean, well-structured, maintainable, and testable code.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Technical Design :

- Ability to contribute to the creation of low-level designs and implement them effectively in the WordPress context.

Communication :

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with

designers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Operational Excellence :

- Demonstrated ability to follow and promote best practices, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to a high-performing team.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience :

- Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).

- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms and deployment strategies for WordPress.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks for PHP and WordPress.
