Kaivale Technologies - Oracle Database Administrator - Installation & Configuration (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Install, configure, Upgrade, administer web services in Oracle E-Business Suite.

- Deploy a variety of web service components in Oracle E-Business Suite.

- Alerting, Monitoring, Reporting & Auditing of E-Bs Integrated SOA Gateway.

- Evaluates and implements modern technologies, products, and tools.

- Analyze performance issues in Integrated SOA gateway (ISG).

- Tuning, Patch, Secure and Maintenance of web services.

- Working with the network, security team to remediate issues.

- Seamless coordination with 3rd Party, Legacy system teams for Integration.

- Oracle Apps DBA provides technical and functional support for database monitoring, database installation, database configuration, database administration, troubleshooting techniques, performance tuning, and application system updates.

- Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system

- Creating primary database storage structures (table spaces) after application developers have designed an application.

- Managing user access and security to the database.

- Implementing backup and recovery plans to protect the database against data loss and reconstructing the data if loss occurs.

- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.

- Identifying and testing database software updates, patches, and Oracle services packs.

- Implementing disaster recovery plans

- Working closely with development teams to improve database performance.

Experience :

- Should have 8-10 years of experience in managing Oracle environment as Apps DBA

- Should have good knowledge in PLSQL, SQL, OID-SSO, E-Business SOA Web services, Web Logic Server,

- Should have strong knowledge in patching and configuration.
