Senior Manager - Quality Control - Automotive (8-18 yrs)

Role:

The Senior Manager - Quality Control will lead the quality control operations in the automotive manufacturing process, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves managing a team, developing and implementing quality control processes, and collaborating with various departments to maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the quality control team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and standards.

- Oversee the testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

- Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the business.

- Prepare and review quality control documentation and reports.

- Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance indicators.

- Manage quality control budgets and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control within the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.

- Experience with quality control testing methods and laboratory equipment.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in quality management systems and statistical analysis tools.
