Job Description
- Responsible for writing and coding individual programs from specific requirements The Web Developer will be responsible for the creation and design of clients websites according to specification.
- Ability to communicate well with peers, cross-functional groups, and international customers (excellent spoken and written English language skills), articulate and succinct.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with an ability to write pseudo code and functional flow charts to depict technology-independent solutions.
- Ability to think like a customer (see not their own, but the user s perspective).
- Brave in doing the right thing the right way, as opposed to just sticking to the right way, following orders, or following processes at all costs.
- Ability to quickly identify challenges and bubble them up all the way to the top management (if and when necessary) and provide solutions as opposed to problems.
- Able to effectively negotiate on timelines, priorities, and needs, and push back even the senior team members, Dev, PM groups, and management to meet quality goals.
- Holds self to the highest levels of professional code of conduct, ethics, and values, presenting true information at all times.
- 2-4 Years of experience as a developer and/or Intermediate, but strong Knowledge (depth) of core technical domain (e.g. Java, PHP, .Net, etc.). Zeal to learn and acquire skills.
- Expected to deliver small to medium functionality independently most of the time. Needs some guidance and handholding (mentoring) to deliver code units.
- Typically paired with Dev4 who would be monitoring the work done by Dev2, and helping reach the next level
Minimum Qualifications
- Master s or bachelor s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
