AVP Finance Manager encompasses the supervision of financial activities, the administration of financial planning and analysis, and the guarantee of adherence to financial regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate forecasts and anticipate financial developments for the organisation.
Carry out assessments and appraisals to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Supervise the financial departments operations, establish targets and aims, and develop a structure for their achievement.
Calculate the financial resources necessary to meet the organizations short-term and long-term monetary goals.
Strategize, coordinate, and execute financial assignments and initiatives within the company.
Qualifications/Experience:
A bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a requirement. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or a Masters in Finance is a plus.
A strong background in finance or accounting, with 3-4 years or more of progressive experience in financial management, analysis, or accounting roles.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
Experience in evaluating costs, pricing, and financial performance.
Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel.
