Network L2 Resource

Roles & Requirements:

• Have good understanding of Trading Infra
• Good Knowledge of Exchanges NSE, NSE Colo and BSE Colo IT related
• Ensure the infrastructure team is mitigating, monitoring and managing infrastructure related risks
• Thorough knowledge of various operating systems, Windows, Linux, Ubuntu and network infra.
• Managing technology infrastructure and assets at across locations and coordinate with team to maintain and support company's technology hardware and software.
• Leading efforts to research and pilot new technology to improve Infrastructure service
• Assisting in analyzing processes and process changes for greater efficiency.
• Good knowledge of managing Servers Infra
• Oversee/ Install the physical deployment of switches and servers in the NSE (National Stock Exchange) COLO (colocation) racks.
• Cabling to Connect COLO Switches with NSE COLO Trading Platform:
• Oversee the cabling process to connect COLO switches with the NSE COLO trading platform.
• Ensure proper cable management and organization to minimize interference and maximize efficiency.
• Test connectivity to ensure seamless data transmission between switches and the trading platform.
• Configuration of COLO switches to integrate with NSE COLO Trading platform:
• Installation of operating systems, Windows, Linux, Ubuntu

Skills & Competencies:

• Understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Deep understanding on IP Subnetting
• Understanding of LAN, WAN terminology, IP packet flow & DHCP packet flow.
• Knowledge of Static and dynamic routing and Switching Protocols
• Good Knowledge and work experience of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF,)
• Good Knowledge and work experience on Multicast and PIM and Implement Multicast and PIM network configurations
• Understanding of TCP/UDP ports and network tools like Wireshark.
• Must have experience in network operations/support environment.
• Hands-on experience on network devices i.e. Cisco router and switches and fortinet, paloalto firewall
