UI UX Designer

Responsibilities:

1. Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
2. Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
3. Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
4. Build page navigation buttons and search fields
5. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
6. Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
7. Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
8. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
9. Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback 10. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
11. Own end-to-end design process and deliverables (including user personas, customer journeys, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes) to effectively conceptualize and communicate design strategy and detailed interaction behaviours for all products.
12. Understand target users deeply: develop or work from user profiles conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or user stories, help to create and analyze user research.

Requirements:

1. Proven understanding of user experience and user interface design, web direction, creative direction, typography and branding.
2. Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or other similar degree preferred.
3. At least 3 years of experience as a user experience designer, user interface designer, interaction designer, web designer, hybrid designer, or similar role.
4. An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating beautiful, user-centered design solutions is a requirement for application.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Great eye for visual design and layout.
7. Proficient in Sketch
8. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects)

Preferred:

1. Experience using Abstract, Invision, Zeplin
2. Experience with Design systems
3. Proficient in HTML5, CSS and Javascript is a plus
4. Capable to work in a fast-paced start-up, international environment
5. Enthusiastic about designing and developing mobile apps
