Hr Payroll Analyst

The HR Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing various HR functions related to

employee lifecycle management, including attendance, payroll, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Payroll Administration:

• Oversee the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
• Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.
• Coordinate with finance for monthly payroll activities.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries related to payroll.
• Collect IT proofs and finance documents from new joiners.

Statutory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements (EPF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
• Prepare, remit, and file statutory returns (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Handle inspections and compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act

1948.

• Manage EPF & ETF compliance, including filing challans and registering new nominations.
• Prepare and file required compliance reports and documentation.
• Handle legal audits and ensure timely renewals of licenses.

HR Administration:

• Generate unique employee codes, manage biometric access, and resolve access issues

efficiently.

• Oversee the use of the ESSL portal for attendance and leave tracking, ensuring data accuracy.
• Coordinate with banks to set up salary accounts for new employees.
• Manage the issuance and replacement of employee badges, uniforms, and ID cards.
• Handle additions and deletions for employee insurance coverage and resolve any related

issues.

• Administer employee discounts, managing the addition and deletion of eligible employees.
• Efficiently resolve employee queries and issues raised through the helpdesk.
• Regularly update and analyze the attrition report

Employee Lifecycle Management:

• Conduct induction program for the new joinees to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Complete the joining formalities including documentation and in HRMS software.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees have necessary resources (e.g., workstations, system access).
• Manage the exit process, including exit interviews and final settlements.
• Update notice periods and process gratuity payments for departing employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and electronic records for all employees, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, Masters degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll and compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in HR software(Greythr) and payroll systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Languages known: English (Competent)and Kannada (Competent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
