Assistant Store Manager - Chennai

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in all areas of daily store operations, customer service and merchandising.
• Drive sales to meet or exceed store sales targets.
• Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on daily operations.
• Monitor and assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving new stock and conducting stock checks. Keeping track of fast and slow selling products and report the same to warehouse.
• Train, coach, and motivate style associates to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
• Managing employee schedules, conducting performance reviews, identifying hiring/training needs and enforcing disciplinary actions.
• Responsible for entire store operations like VM, stock management, shrinkage prevention etc.
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing store expenses, maintaining monthly reports, checklists and preparing reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable.
• Handle complaints from customers.
• Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed, and all employees adhere to the company's policies and guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

• PUC/Intermediate/Diploma with 4+ years retail fashion industry Or Graduate with 1+ years retail fashion industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques
• Open to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
