Job Description
Liaise with Product Management to ensure business plans and product specifications are understood, and to advise whether target schedules and costs are achievable.
Collaborate with functional managers and develop a project plan which details the required budget, resources, and the development milestones required by L+G s P-Gate process.
Plan and manage resources over the entire project lifecycle.
Development
Responsible for the achievement of all P-Gate Process development milestones from P0 to P3.
Responsible for the achievement of product feature, quality, and reliability targets.
Responsible for meeting project budget CapEx and OpEx.
New Product Introduction
Coordinate with stakeholders and manage allocated NPI program team members to ensure successful and timely program execution. Identify challenges and obstacles early and instigate corrective actions.
Coordinate project activities with L+G production sites and key suppliers as required.
Team building and cooperation of intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.
Project Reporting
Ensure all project documentation and checklists are completed and archived as per P Process requirements.
Prepare and present accurate progress reports to the Project Steering Committee.
Identify & priorities project risks, and propose options to mitigate.
Strictly apply L+G s Change Request (CR) process to enable full transparency and accountability.
Actively support continuous improvement by analyzing problems, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing process changes that would avoid similar problems.
- Manage Energy Better: Consciously drive for continuous improvement in reusing, recycling or reducing waste
- Maintain awareness of identified and potential health and safety, quality and environmental aspects within the workplace and their impact, including the reporting of any accidents/incidents/near misses or hazards
- Act responsibly to meet the objectives/requirements at the appropriate level as described in the Health, Safety and Integrated Management Systems.
