Senior Database Developer (8-10 yrs)

SKO Systems (India) Private Limited. SKO is a London / Pune based developer of software products used in shipping cruise industry.

Overview : Looking for an experienced database engineer / developer.

Qualification : Technical qualification in a related subject.

Responsibilities :

- Design & implement the database and data modelling.

- Creating Indexes, Views, complex Triggers, Stored Procedure, effective Functions, and appropriate store procedures to facilitate efficient data manipulation and data consistency.

Designing Database, writing sequences, jobs, complex and dynamic queries in SQL, MySQL, ORACLE.

- Should have good grip on Keys, Constraints, Indexes, Joins, CTEs, Partitioning, Row Number() and Windows function, Temporary Tables, UDTs, Types of Union, Metalized views etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Database Normalization & De-normalization.

- Good command in writing the complex logic.

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune SQL processes and complex SQL queries.

- Should Know how to write unit test cases.

- Understanding of Database Transactions and states.

- Design, implement and monitor queries and stored procedure and their performance.

- Able to debug programs and integrate the applications with third-party web services.

- Identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations and implementations.

- Understanding of database Backup, Restore & Maintenance.

- Should have the knowledge about development, testing, UAT and production environments and their databases.

- Knowledge of Working on SSRS and SSIS. Experience in SSAS will be plus.

- Good communication skills.
