Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Analysis

• Assist the CEO and senior leadership in the development and execution of strategic plans by providing data-driven insights and conducting market research.
• Analyze trends and business performance to ensure alignment with strategic goals, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

2. Business Performance Monitoring

• Track and analyze business performance indicators (KPIs) across various hospital departments and initiatives.
• Generate periodic reports on hospital performance, financial metrics, and operational efficiency, offering insights and strategic recommendations.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to hospital operations, market trends, patient outcomes, and financial performance.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to the CEO and other senior leaders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.

4. Project Support & Management

• Support and manage key strategic projects, collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Track project timelines, resources, and deliverables, providing regular updates to the CEO and stakeholders on progress and outcomes.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with department heads (e.g., Finance, Operations, Marketing, HR) to gather data, evaluate performance, and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between different functional areas to promote a unified approach to executing business strategies.

6. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend tracking to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide the CEO with actionable insights on market dynamics, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

7. Financial Analysis & Budgeting

• Assist in the preparation of financial models, budgets, and forecasts, supporting the financial planning process for the hospital group.
• Conduct variance analysis, identifying discrepancies between forecasted and actual results, and provide recommendations for financial optimization.

8. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing patient care delivery.
• Work with relevant departments to implement process improvements and track the effectiveness of these changes.

9. Risk Management & Mitigation

• Support the CEO in identifying potential risks to the business, both internally and externally, and provide recommendations for mitigating these risks.
• Ensure that risk assessments are updated regularly and that strategies are in place to address emerging challenges.

10. Stakeholder Communication

• Prepare executive summaries, presentations, and other materials for meetings with the CEO, board members, and key stakeholders.

Ensure effective communication and documentation related to strategic initiatives and operational projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
• Expert-level has written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
• Familiar with tools like Notion, MS office and G-suite and other BI Tools
• Takes up new tasks and challenges confidently takes full ownership
• The candidate should have hospital experience.
