Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transfer Pricing Compliance Specialist/Manager to join our tax team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with global transfer pricing regulations, developing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation, and providing advisory support on intercompany transactions.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of transfer pricing principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing transfer pricing compliance.
Responsibilities:
Transfer Pricing Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain global transfer pricing documentation, including master file, local files, and country-by-country reporting (CbCR).
- Conduct benchmarking studies and economic analyses to support transfer pricing policies.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with local and international regulations.
Intercompany Transaction Management:
- Analyze and monitor intercompany transactions to ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies.
- Provide advisory support on the pricing of intercompany transactions.
- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions in financial systems.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with changes in global transfer pricing regulations and guidelines (e.g., OECD BEPS).
- Ensure compliance with local and international transfer pricing requirements.
- Prepare and submit transfer pricing disclosures and reports to tax authorities.
- Manage transfer pricing audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess transfer pricing risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze transfer pricing risks and exposures.
- Conduct transfer pricing risk assessments and implement control measures.
Benchmarking and Economic Analysis:
- Conduct benchmarking studies to determine arm's length pricing for intercompany transactions.
- Perform economic analyses to support transfer pricing policies and documentation.
- Utilize financial databases and economic modeling tools for analysis.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure transfer pricing compliance.
- Communicate transfer pricing policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance on transfer pricing matters.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve transfer pricing processes and controls.
- Implement automation and efficiency enhancements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 4 years of experience in transfer pricing compliance or a related role.
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles and regulations.
- Experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation (master file, local files, CbCR).
- Experience in conducting benchmarking studies and economic analyses.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using financial databases and economic modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CTA, Advanced Diploma in International Taxation).
- Experience in a multinational company or a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of specific industry transfer pricing practices.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
