Job Description
Responsibilities
PostgreSQL DBA experience
Exposure to capital markets technology (especially Murex) is a plus
Solution Architect for all DB-related activities
Setting up Databases on request on-prem or AWS Cloud (RDS and/or Aurora) and DMS Data replication
Performance monitoring across domains on-prem and cloud
Database replication, migration, upgrades
DB Patching and Maintenance
Skills
Must have
Minimum of 6+ years experience in all aspects of database administration of PostgreSQL, and EDB tools.
Good understanding and working knowledge of PostgreSQL replication
Sybase DBA experience is mandatory.
Expertise in database patching, maintenance, etc.
Proficient in database backup and recovery of PostgreSQL databases
Hands-on experience on Warm standby and table-level replication along with logical replication and backup tool Barman.
Work experience and proficiency in PostgreSQL database security concepts.
Good knowledge of Scripting languages like Shell and Perl.
Optimization and Performance tuning.
